Today, I got an iPad Pro. That’s a big step for me. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but it never quite worked out. Previously, I had been using an old iPad Mini for anything tablet related. Unfortunately, it was a joke when it came to doing actual work.
Taking a step back, I haven’t used iOS to be productive in 2017. Most of the time using the iPad Mini was for content consumption, almost exclusively video content. Writing for the blog, learning about my passions or general productivity work haven’t been major priorities of mine at all. And that kind of sucks.
I shouldn’t need a fancy new toy to get me to write more, but there is something to say about ease of use. It is ridiculously easy to write on this iPad compared to my Mac. It’s fast, efficient and lets me focus on what I really need to be doing, writing.
Hopefully you’ll be seeing more of me around these parts. I’d like to start sharing my passions for media, art, programming, writing and more. Until then, here’s to getting another post up before the new year.
